Confidential Assessment
A confidential assessment to determine how
we can best help those who have been
affected by domestic violence. Once the
assessment is complete, we are able to offer a
safe place for you and your young children.
Sometimes, people come into the shelter with
only the clothes on their back. We are able to
access adequate clothing, if needed.

Weekly Support Group
Camden House offers an ongoing
support group for women who have
been in abusive relationships. The
group meets on Tuesdays from 6:00
until 7:30 pm. You do not have to be
living at the shelter to attend our groups.
We also have a children's group that
meets at the same time. Call 882-7858
for specific information necessary to
participate in the group.

Legal Advocacy
Camden House has a Legal Advocate who
is available Monday through Friday from
9:00 am until 4:00 pm. The advocate may
help secure a temporary protective order
(TPO) for your protection.

The shelter team may suggest that you have counseling to help you in your
recovery from the devastating effects of domestic violence. They will help you
select a counselor from the community best suited to your situation.
