Coastal Counseling Center
Hope, Help and Healing
We are a community-centered, non-profit
counseling center who works with adults in our
community who either do not have any
insurance or their insurance does not cover
counseling. We work from a sliding fee scale
relative to your income.

The mission of the Georgia Legal Services Program is to provide access to
justice and opportunities out of poverty for Georgians with low-incomes.
Services include: advice and counsel for civil cases, brief service,
representation in administrative hearings and court, other legal assistance,
educational programs, and referrals to private attorneys and to other services.
Special projects include: Statewide Domestic Violence Projects,
landlord/tenant housing help-line, migrant & seasonal farm workers project,
State Bar Pro Bono project,
elder legal assistance and elder abuse prevention projects, homeless legal
assistance project, legal assistance for persons with HIV/AIDS, and long-term
care ombudsman projects.

Salon professionals are often one of the first individuals to whom victims of domestic violence share their secret. Cut It Out is a partnership between the National Cosmetology Association and local counseling centers & domestic violence shelters. Salon professionals may receive valuable training at no charge to help them listen for early warning signals of abuse and resource or referral information.
